My two sons and I are off for an adventure that is a holiday in the South of France. Without any plans, schedules or engagements.
We intend to just… be. In the sun.
This may be the first time in history that my bags are packed before the taxi is waiting outside… And this time, even all our passports are still valid… Strange and very new for me. But in a nice way.
Soooo… I’m peacefully preparing myself, letting go of all the stress and rush even before heading for the airport. Mmmmm… Sweet.
I even had the time to choose the earrings in which to travel! Very unusual luxury. These French antique market finds are my all-time favorites.
Wish us Bon voyage dear friends! I’ll keep you posted on all the adventure that comes our way…

We had tickets to Chisu’s concert, in the front row at Savoy theatre, last Sunday. Since then I’ve been trying to find the words to describe the experience.
Well, I’m still speechless but will try to babble away anyways.
As so many times before, the lady sang straight to my soul.
I’ve banned her old hit songs Mun koti ei oo täällä (This is not home anymore) or Sama nainen (Woman unchanged) from myself as I can’t afford the unending flow of tears that follows. Well, in concert she nailed me with one of them.
UhHuhhhh is all I can say.
But her spirit, wit and humour made me laugh as much from the heart as flew those tears. Take the song Kriisit (Crisis). You’ll have to listen to it, I promise you’ll find yourself there… Or Miehistä viis, elegantly translated as Screw men. Perhaps that will ring a bell in you as well…
Then song Muut (We’re not like the Others) – ah it’s a song of my first love. A love story that I instantly relived right there in the front row of Savoy, like a little water fountain.
So. Muut is on the forbidden list now as well. I’m cutting down on tears, at least a little bit…
I could go on with stories worth an hour and a half of songs… But recommend that you go and see (feel) it for yourselves.
For it would be a sin to miss the charisma and raw talent of this rare songbird.
And me… I’ll live on the high of these emotion for a long, long time.

Today I’m having a little adventure, just me by myself.
I’m in a new town, in a lovely hotel, about to have a bubble bath with a glass of champagne…
Have spent my day meeting the most interesting people, taken a million photos…
Dined in a beautiful restaurant, a gorgeous 3-course meal in peace and quiet, enjoying the sound of my own thoughts…
And after my bath, there’s still a concert in the cards for tonight, at midnight.
Hmmmm… Today feels like writing little but special chapter to the book of life.
My life.

As summer and little dress season is approaching, I’ve gathered some ideas on how to add some ooompf to your favorite lacy pieces.
Things such as a cool turquoise pendant. Softest leather bag. Signature vintage ring. Those skinny jeans.

A Monday when one wakes up to snow and slit – body in April, mind in spring – deserves something especially sweet.
